I have been awarded a number of grants, scholarships and awards, both for my scholarly work and for my activity as a translator.
- 2025 – The Lanckoroński Foundation Grant
Grant awarded for the “Arts of Embassy” project, aimed at studying and publishing the illustrated travel journal of the first Dutch diplomatic mission to Poland-Lithuania (1627-1628).
- 2025 – Fonds Maatschappelijk Onderzoek, Nederlandse Taal en Cultuur, Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen
Grant awarded to build a website with educational material for secondary schools, concerning the early modern Dutch Republic.
- 2025 – Maatschappij der Nederlandse Letterkunde Fellowship
Fellowship awarded for the “Literary Fruits of the ‘Mother Trade'” project, aimed at studying the production, circulation and consumption of Dutch poetry in early modern Prussia.
- 2019 – Erasmus+ Scholarship
Scholarship awarded to perform research at the Tadeusz Manteuffel Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw (December 2019).
- 2018 – Alexander P. Raat Congress Grant (with Alan Moss)
Grant awarded by the Dutch-Belgian Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (Werkgroep 18e Eeuw), for the organization of the ‘Foreign Eyes on the Republic’ conference (Nijmegen, 21-22 February 2019).
- 2017 – Academia Europaea Sarbieviana Prize
Prize awarded during the IX Maciej Kazimierz Sarbiewski Day in Warsaw, for my articles on Sarbievius and the Low Countries.
- 2016 – First Prize at the annual Polish-Dutch literary translation contest
Prize awarded by the Stichting Literatura and the Polish Embassy in the Netherlands, for my translation of an excerpt from Joanna Bator’s ‘Ciemno, prawie noc’.
